Sometimes it is necessary for you to take your child out in the rain. When this happens you want to make sure they are wearing the proper
kids rainwear. Normally, this means a

boys rain boots. If you're worried that your child won't want to wear his rainwear, you might want to let him pick out one of the many styles that are now available rather than choosing one for him.
These days, you can find all sorts of

With all these fancy boys raincoats your child will probably be able to find a raincoat he will want to wear all the time, regardless of whether or not it's actually raining. He might want to wear it so that he can dress-up like a fireman or a pirate, or like a frog. Children tend to want to wear their favorite clothes all the time, regardless of whether they are suitable. Wouldn't you rather your child have a raincoat that he loved? It doesn't hurt for a child to wear a raincoat when it is not raining, so you'll be able to let him wear it whenever he wants.
Finding the right rainwear will make future battles over getting into rain gear much less likely. Kids tend to really like it when you get them a matching set of raingear including a
matching raincoat, rain boots, and umbrella, especially if you get them in the style of a pattern that they really love.
Although you may be able to make do with an inexpensive raincoat, it is better to get one of higher quality. This way the raincoat will be likely to last much longer, and it is more likely to come in a design that your child will actually like. Rather than purchasing multiple cheap raincoats, you might as well get one that will last for a good while, or at least until the child outgrows it.
